The minimum grant that can be applied for is £10,000 and we will usually make grants of around 25% – 40% of a project’s eligible costs. Some types of projects may be able to apply for higher rates – details of these are in the handbook.
You will need to provide evidence of match funding with your application. Match funding can be from bank loans, business funding, your own funds or another grant, but cannot be public funding.
Grant payments are paid in arrears and you will need to pay for the project up front.
There is no automatic right to a LEADER grant and not all applications will be funded, even if they are eligible. The Local Action Group (LAG) will decide which projects will receive grant funding by assessing each application.
